A silly question I'm sure. I bought an average of 30 double coil sparking an old Harley to use in an old British sports car that also uses the dual av. (A death trap known as three-wheel Morgan) The coil has two sets screws. A set of screws closest to the cable connections and is closer to establishing a base of the coil .. No I have to create two lines of the two screws near connection cables to the dealer or some do the trick? Also the two screws that look like they are on the case near the base .. do not need two connections the igntion cable?? Or make the final question – I have the whole thing changes? Any help gratefully accepted.
Without being there and seeing what has made it difficult. However, typical connection is the coil of red wire to a primary side of the coil, the other side of the primary coil will the points. The coils are usually + Marked or -, but in the case of a double main coil do not think it makes any difference.
