Sale Iron Twin

Sale Iron Twin
Online Property disputes – how far should I go (ie property survey)?

We live in a twin and now have a slight) dispute (Not registered with our neighbors over our property line. I have some specific questions: 1. There are two bars of iron about 2 feet away in a corner back of our lot on the side neighbor is not registered. We suspect the neighbors to put at least one up themselves as a marker. How far are the real "Pin" to mark property lines – it is about 3 meters above the ground so it may be legitimate? 2. Our neighbor claims that our path is about 1.5-2 meters on his property. We just bought the house a year ago and the survey was not conducted before the sale. If that pair of feet is actually on your line property, that we should "give back" or it's ours because we bought the house in good faith on the size of the driveway? 3. Definitely should get a property professional study done, right? We live in PA, if that helps. Thanks for the tip!

My opinion is that the first thing to do if you think the neighbors are encroaching on their property is to stop any claim adverse possession may have and gain time to fix the problem. I will send a letter indicating that it is checking property lines and that you will do the same with a surveyor and in the meantime you are granting them permission to invade if in the event of an invasion by them is the inspector. This type of letter is all you need to stop the adverse possession if you have not yet met the time requirements of the laws adverse possession in your state. And as to hire a surveyor to make an ILR (Improvement Location Report) which is a type of survey, but not an expensive survey Full blown that determines the actual location of property lines. Of course, if there is a dispute, then you need a legal beagle to help. Best of luck to you
