Relationship between chlorophyll a chlorophyll b?
It is the ratio of chlorophyll a to chlorophyll b 3:01 for all sheets? – I have completed a practice with the dandelion leaves and this was the expected proportion of these pigments. – Is this the case for all the leaves?? Also, what is the reason by which the chlorophyll is more abundant than chlorophyll b?
I think its because of the different colors of wavelengths of light. Chlorophyll B could be sensitive the green light that was reflected mainly in the leaf (which is why the license is seen as green), as such, do not need much chlorophyll fos B, and resources (eg magnesium) used in the manufacture of more chlorophyll A. I'm not sure what color is a color definitelt but the rainbow.
