Magnum Mag
Are the .338 Lapua Magnum, .408 Cheytac and .460 Weatherby Mag legal in Australia?
Hey. Just out of interest does any one know if you are legally able to own any type of .338 mag not specifically a Lapua Magnum, a .408 Cheytac or a .460 Weatherby Mag?
I never Said I wanted to own one. But I have to admit it would be fricken AWESOME 
but the .308 and 9mm are both used in the Australian army… They aren’t illegal. Also I have looked at the firearms registration website and NSW Firearms Department Website and cant find anything in relation to legal and illegal calibers.
Yes they are legal but you would be unlikely to find one as there is not much demand for such calibers.One could be ordered in from overseas but at enormous cost.I am an Australian shooter all I have is a CZ 452 in 22 lr Check out the link below it is an Aussie second hand gun site and does in fact list two rifles in 338 Lapua one for $3700 and the other $9995
