Black Disposable

Is using the same ink for every customer at a tattoo shop sanitary?
I watched a guy tattoo my husband today. He seemed clean. He changed gloves often and he used disposable needles. The tattoo place is known for it’s good sanitary practices. I was just curious about the ink. I saw him spray a bottle, then squirt some black ink into something. Then he recapped the bottle and put it back on the shelf. Is this safe? Is it normal? I wanted to ask but I didnt want to bother him.
The ink comes in rather large bottles. They dispense some into sterile caps that are thrown out after being used. The same goes for needles- new ones are to be used and you should see them being removed from the packaging. You should also watch to make sure the needles and ink ‘caps’ are thrown out once they are done with the tattoo.
If you ever have doubts, ask…very few questions are considered stupid to professionals. And if you don’t get a good enough answer or hear something shady, leave!
