Art Tattoo Machines

I would like to know any recomendations for a budget friendly tattoo machine?
Before you all start lecturing me please read on…
I am an artist who would just like to play with a new medium. I will not be going anywhere near people, I would just like to make some art on practice skins. I hear that the quality of the art depends a lot on the quality of the machine, so I don’t want something that is super cheap in quality. I would just like a reasonable priced machine for a hobbyist.
Hmmmm, a tattoo hobbyist? New one to me, LOL. I am gonna do my darndest to try not to be offended here, as I see tattooing as a profession and a way of life, not a “hobby”.
You can usually find reasonably priced starter kits on ebay, Technical Tattoo Supply has some decent machines and power units in stock as does Spaulding & Rogers.
On a practice skin, the quality of machine is not going to affect the quality of the work. It is the artist, not the machine, who creates the art. You can get the most basic machine and, as long as the machine is properly tuned and used, create extravagant works of art on skin. The following should suffice for your needs:
