Can you go blind from an upper ear piercing?
I’ve heard of rare cases in which a person has gone blind after having their ear pierced on the upper cartilage bit. i wanted to get this but im an art student and it would SUCK if i went blind, coz then i would be totally useless. is it really possible to go blind??
I have mine pierced and I haven’t gone blind… I’ve never heard of the two being linked together. I think the only way you could go blind from something like that is if you got a serious infection and it spread. And having been in the medical profession for a long time (I have a degree in nursing), that still seems very unlikely to me.
