Alignment Adjuster

Am I being ripped off?
My wife was in an accident.. no one was hurt. Took the car to the dealer to have it fixed. A tie rod was very visablly bent. The insurance claims adjuster called and said the dealer performed two alignments and said that I should fight it. he said because the wheel was visibly bent inward and the tie rod was very visibly bent, the dealer should not have performed the first alignment in order to troubleshoot the problem in the suspension. He said it was obvious where the problem was (bent tie rod) and so I should only pay for the last alignment, once the tie rod was replaced. Should I fight the dealer on over charging me 90 bucks for the first supposedly unnecessary alignment? Was the first alignment necessary to fix the problem? The insurance is one going to cover one alignment.
I would think it is the insurance companys business to dispute charges. I think that dealer would not want to risk a relationship with an insurance company over $90. They could possibly loose future business from that company.
